Holocaust Monument Vandalized in Estonia

(April 17, 2006)

A monument to 6,000 victims of the Holocaust murdered near Tallin was defaced by vandals, according to an April 11, 2006 report by the Russian Jewish news site Jewish.ru. The monument, placed on the site of the murder, was vandalized on a memorial day for victims of the Holocaust-a clear sign that it was not a random incident. No arrests were reported in the Jewish.ru story.
