A group of neo-Nazis attacked an African-American in Kiev in broad daylight, according to a January 14, 2008 report by the Russian Jewish web site Jewish.ru. Marcus Faison, who plays for a local professional basketball team, was attacked over the weekend in the downtown area. He reportedly ran to a nearby police car during the attack for help, but the officers allegedly saw what was happening and drove away. Mr. Faison then sought medical treatment for multiple lacerations on his arm, which will require him not to play for several days at least.
