African Man Dies in Kiev

African national dies in Kyiv of stab injuries According to information from the African Center, on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at around 5-5.30 in the evening, Victor Gbenda-Charles was attacked by a group of people in Obolon district in Kyiv. He died of multiple stab injuries inflicted on him during the attack. Victor Gbenda-Charles came to Ukraine as a student in 1991 from Sierra Leone, and was later registered as a refugee, according to the information available as of now. He was between 38-40 years old and was working in a market in Obolon district. He is survived by his Ukrainian wife and child.
