Lithuanian Holocaust Memorial Vandalized

A Holocaust memorial in the Kretinga district of Lithuania was vandalized, according to a September 21, 2005 report by the RIA-Novosti news service. Stone tablets marking the sight of Nazi atrocities in the area were smashed by unidentified vandals. The vandalism took place during a state visit to Lithuania by Israel’s president.
