Five residents of Riga have been arrested in connection with the September 12 desecration of around 40 gravestones in a Jewish cemetery, according to a September 19, 2003 report by the Baltic News Agency. Four are under-aged, while another is 19 years old. Two are ethnic Latvians, while the other three are ethnic Russians.
