Latvian Jewish Cemetery Vandalized

A Jewish cemetery in Liepaja, Latvia has been vandalized, according to an October 7, 2005 report by the Baltic News Service. Around 34 gravestones were vandalized in the city's Livas cemetery. The crime was discovered on October 5. Police suspect that local youths committed the act. So far, no arrests have been reported.
